THANK YOU Jasmine for sharing the truth! I'm so tired of RUclipsrs spewing the propaganda of "Every Day is a Holiday in Ghana " I moved from the States and had horrible experiences. We run a free school for 200 kids in Ashaiman. Even though we are giving free education the locals don't appreciate it. The more you give the more they take. We were targeted and had our house broken into twice. We lived in Tema. I decided to just focus on helping make the community build. I am a grant writer and business consultant so I started helping SMEs and NGOs with capacity building training and finding venture capital from Western investors to scale their businesses. But I left the country last year. I'm coming back in August to launch a nurse project that will put nurses into the 30,000 private schools. I'll just go back and forth between the States and the States. 😊

I moved to Ghana in 2021. I'm disappointed in Jasmine Ama for spreading the propaganda. Your video encourages people to risk it all. Ghana is NOT the welcoming place that you and your guests have portrayed. There should be a sign at the airport that says "Enter At Your Own Risk". The reality on the ground is that the Diaspora are Prey. We are targeted for robbery, corruption, and price gouging not to mention landlord and land sellers extortion, police shakedowns, high prices, and increased lights out. I have not met a single Diaspora who hasn't had to face these issues. Gabby has only been back for 3 months and her business is not even open. She's still on holiday. I wish that Jasmine would do a show about the realities of living in Ghana Today! Not pre Covid. I'm sure she'll have no problem finding folks to interview, I'll volunteer.

The social life in Ghana is great, u meet more people and make more friends....however, u must be mentally alert because poverty there has turned lots of people into thieves and scammers, who will find ways to take all ur money and resources from u. The systems there only works 25% due to serious levels of corruption., i hope it gets better........
